For Maths we were given a project where we had to choose a career we want to pursue in the future, and see how Maths connects to it. We were also given certain questions that we had to answer. As you can see by the Title of the Presentation, I aspire to be a Artist/Entertainer/Musician. It's something that I have always dreamt to be since I was little.

Maths - Co ordinates
A co ordinate is a special kind of point because X comes before Y.
Sounds confusing?? Well let me help you firstly in a Co ordinate there is two numbers. There is also many types of lines for e.g
X is how far along
Y is how far up
M = Slope or Gradient (how steep the line is)
B = the Y Intercept (where the line crosses the Y axis)
Here is an Image of co ordinates:

Multiple Multiplication Methods
This is a DLO(Digital Learning Object) that I have created which shows one of the Maths tasks I chose to do today. This math task is about Multiple Multiplication Methods that we can use to solve different Math equations. For example one math method is Place Value. It took me a while to get this done due to some confusion but here it is!

Multiplication Follow Up
This is yet ANOTHER Multiplicative Thinking Follow up task. But don't worry there is more to come....Anywho This task helps us to use Place Value Partitioning and Multiplication in Parts with larger numbers.
Multiplication Follow Up - Divide 10
This is one of the tasks that were given to my maths group, Divide 10. This task helps us to develop our knowledge on Place Value Partitioning. I found this task quite easy once I knew how to solve the maths problems in a efficient and easy way.

Mehi - Multiplicative Thinking DLO
This is another DLO that I have created which AGAIN shows another maths problem where we had to use our Place Value Partitioning skills. The math problem was.....
Patosina owns 6 bike containers . There are 142 bikes in each container .
How many bikes does Patosina have altogether?

XtraMath
Today for maths we were introduced a new game by my teacher(I actually already new about this game). The game was called 'XtraMath'. This game helps me with my basic facts(Multiplication, Addition, Subtraction and Division). It also tests how fast we can answer our basic facts. Today for 'Race the Teacher' I got 75 points. Hoooray!!!

Maths - Understanding Time Unit/Calendars
Today for maths me and my maths group 'Ten Percent' did a worksheet task which was called Understanding Time Units and Calendars. I found this task quite easy because I already knew how to put the days in the week and the months in a year in order. This task was super fun and I enjoyed doing it.
This is some of the worksheet. I couldn't screenshot the whole thing because my screen was too big.

Mehi and Lavinia - Maths - Thinkboard
This task is called Think board. This task helps me with my maths knowledge. As you can see I chose to do multiplication because I wanted to challenge my thinking. I found this task quite easy. Next time I could maybe chose to do division.
Addition Pyramid
Today we did a task called Addition Pyramid. This task is about addition. First you start from the bottom and make your way up while adding the numbers from each row.
