Mehi and Willy - Vocabulary Tasks

This is the vocabulary tasks presentation that Willy and I did. I asked Willy to join with me because he couldn't access it for some reason. It was fun working with Willy and also trying to figure out the tasks! Especially if they were still on the "Heroes" topic!

Matariki

This is a presentation that I have created which is about Matariki. In this task we had to create our own DLO(Digital, Learning, Object) that showcases critical questions about Matariki. But this time we had to think of questions that had answers that people will understand and gain information about Matariki. I also learnt a lot of new things from this task such as, Matariki is a Maori New year that represents new beginnings and growth.

Hercules - Figurative Language

This is a google drawing that I have created. This task was done by me and my buddy Stanley. This task is to help us use and understand figurative language in our writing. Me and my buddy found this task quite challenging since we didn't know the meanings for some of these figurative languages. But in the end we finished it. HOORAY!!!

Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief - Character Study

The two characters I chose were Percy Jackson and Annabeth. This task shows the different characteristics Percy and Annabeth have. It also shows what actions they have done in the movie and also how their characteristics change throughout the movie. This is just a screenshot of a third of the table. I couldn't screenshot the whole thing but to view the whole table click this link.

Mata I Pusi

This is a DLO(Digital, Learning, Object) that I have created which shows the 5 W'S(When, Where, What, Why and Who) and 1 H(How). This task helps me develop my understanding and connecting skills to a text. The text is called Mata I Pusi which means The eye of a Cat in Samoan.

Maths - Understanding Time Unit/Calendars

Today for maths me and my maths group 'Ten Percent' did a worksheet task which was called Understanding Time Units and Calendars. I found this task quite easy because I already knew how to put the days in the week and the months in a year in order. This task was super fun and I enjoyed doing it.

This is some of the worksheet. I couldn't screenshot the whole thing because my screen was too big.
