Mary - Well Being
For Health we learnt about the four walls of self also known as Hauora.
The four walls of self include:
- Taha Tinana - Physical Well Being
- Taha Wairua - Spiritual Well Being
- Taha Whanau - Social Well Being
- Taha Hinengaro - Mental/Emotional Well Being.
We learnt about the different effects it can have on us if we don't have one wall working. I created a Powtoon to show what I like to do that effects each wall of my Hauora.

Group 4(Cypress, Mehi, Sulaiman, Maopa) - Hauora - Te Whare Tapa Wha
Today our class was given a task about Hauora - Te Whare Tapa Wha. Te Whare Tapa is the four walls of health and well-being. Our class were split into different groups, which had four people in each group. One person from each group had to go to another group which had one of the walls. I was in the Te Taha Wairua(Spiritual Health) group. Once each person from the groups had gathered their information in their head they went back to their original group and put it onto a Google Presentation...which you can see our group's one above.
