Cycle Safety


Cycle Safety with Bigfoot Adventures!

What do you need to do to check the safety of your bike?


  • If both brakes are working fine.
  • That the wheels turn around and they spin.
  • The seat and the two wheels have to be tightened up and that they are not loose.
  • Check your rear red reflector is working and that you have one.

What do you need to wear while riding your bike?


  • Short
  • Bright coloured Vest
  • Bright coloured t-shirt
  • Bag cover with a strip that shines light

What do you need to do, by law, when riding a bike?

  • To always wear a helmet or you will get a fine and you can get injured.
  • Both brakes are working.
  • Have your light working.

Helmet safety: What do you need to look for?


  • That it is not broken or cracked.
  • It fits perfectly on your head.
  • That it has a sticker so that you know that its safe.
